CARB PROBLEM

    ok i got this new replacement CARB its OEM replacement which is what i am trying to say, i installed it . everything is set up correctly all lines to and from it are good. So here is the problem,
    I turn it on and it works fine, it idels great.
    but when i press the gas to accelerate, it trys to die and then comes back to life.
    i dont know what this could be.
    this is actually a problem on my 78 CAMARO, my K5 is running good. (TBI woot) let me know please

    Check to see if the accelerator pump is working, PM if you need to know how to check. What kind of carb is it?? I put a rebuilt oem replacement on my 78 k5, 2BBL rochestor and it been nothing but trouble from day one.
