    on a edelbrock 600 cfm you have the 2 adjustmant screws on the front what way do you turn them to make it not run so rich? in or out?

    That is just the idle mix. You will need to mess with jets and needles to fix a rich or lean condition while it is runnning. Check out the edlebrock site for more info on how to do it right

    what it is doing is flooding out after idling for more than 10 min also it run's rich all the time and if i try to climb a hill it will flood out. i do have the offroad set and it used to do good it was also rebuilt about 1 year ago

    Do you have the 2101 intake too? What about a cam? The Performer set up is matched from the company to run best together... the three... cam, intake and carb. I ran my Performer 1405 on my stock manifold and it was super rich. I installed the intake and it made it better, but when I went to the RV cam, it runs awesome. If you dont use the intake and cam, you will have to swap out jets to lean it down.

    not sure what cam it has it came this way when i bought it so i have no idea what cam it has it does have the edelbrock tork intake though i did rebuild the carb and put the offroad set in about 1 year ago other than that i have not done anything to the motor in the 2 and a half years i have had it exept tune ups and oil changes
