    i got a edlebrock 750 carb on my truck and sometimes when its warming up when its cold out i go to hit the gas to make it idle down and it will just stick up at a higher rpm then slowly go down then other times it works right what do u think it could be \?

    83' chevy 454/turbo 400/ 208/ dana 44 front/ 14 rear

    vacuum leak, or you have a deceleration valve and dont know it, or maybe carb is too rich for your engine, in which alot of aftermarket carbs end up being, for anything near stock
