    Carbed 350 in a 87\' TBI

I have an 87 with a locked up 350tbi. I have a strong running 350 w/ a holley carb. What changes have to be made to the wiring harness. Can I use the engine harness from the 78' 350. What about the cab harness. Should I swap that out too. The 350 TBI harness goes throught the firewall to the computer, where the carbed harnesses computer in picked up in the cab.

Or, just swap the TBI stuff to the new motor.

The engine harness (starter, coil, etc.) is already seperate from the TBI harness as I understand it.

You may want to check how the tbi intake bolts to the tbi motor, it may be diffrent then the old school ones.

My friend and I converted his '88 Suburban from TBI to a carb. He just took all his old wiring (from the fuse box to the motor) and computer out, and we put a wiring harness from I think it was about an '80 or so in, and pretty much everything worked. I can't remember right now if we did anything else. I might be forgetting something important.
