OK, I finally figured out why my carb didn't have the right vacuum ports to match my sticker. The casting number is 17057204. The guy I bought the truck from said the carbs never even been off the truck, but the truck's an 84. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Oh my, a used car seller lied? I can't believe it. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Well, I went through my other carbs and found a compatable quadrajet with the RIGHT numbers and figured I'd get it rebuilt. Anyone tried Carbs unlimited. Do they do pretty good work?

old, gummed up, never been touched so I figured I'd get a fresh rebuild on the correct carb instead of putting the wrong one back on.
