I sent out a pm to everyone who posted up in the North Carolina post about possibly starting a state wide club. I should have just done this but oh well, the idea has been floating around for awile, just thought it was a good time to bring it up and start pulling input, some of the questions that have been asked allready

    1. what type of trucks?
    a. i dont really care, like i said before a 14 year old kid with a built skateboard can wheel with me if he wants

    2. would there be dues and bylaws?
    a. i dont think that thats needed, my version of this thing is just a good group of people that can get together once in awile and promote responsible wheeling

    3. would it be familly based?
    a. yes, i have nothing agianst the teen and twenty year old crowd as long as everyone can do the right thing

    4. Named?
    a. yes i would like to name it something but dont have a clue, i pmed Jeff at Lyons design and he can make stickers if thats whats wanted, i was thinking about something the size of ORDs fender sticker and mayby something half that size, didnt ask about different colors but im sure it wouldnt be a problem. The main reason i want stickers on trucks is like i said before just to promote responsible wheeling

I dont really want to the boss hogg of a group if we can get something started, just want to have alot more fun this summer with people i can meet.

if there is enough intrest i can talk to Steve about a Carolina forum, let me know what good ideas are out there. Paul

Sounds great! I would love to see something like this take off. Let me know if I can help as there are only a few full size Chevys in our club. The more chevys the better!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Check our clubs web page at Carolina Offroad Extremists

Anyone have a name idea?? Mayby keep it in the familly with Carolina K5? The only problem is that since we are spread out and come together on this board it really wouldnt be any different than whats going on now would it? Or do all of get as many local (to us) people involved with a anything 4x4 club and hit places like uhwarrie in mass?? I dont even know if that makes any sense /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
