Don't fall into thier coupon scam. I needed quite a few parts for the Ole Blaze and was doing some online price comparisons! I went to my local Advance Auto parts store and purchased them localally for far less than Carparts was going to charge me for the same manufacter. I even had a coupon for $30 off $100 with carparts.
I was talking with the guy at advance and he told me they had a web site also. http:// www.advanceautoparts.com

They have a special going on now also.. I could have saved 15% online.. You can have the parts delivered to you house or pick them up at the nearest store.

If your into saving money you really need to shop around. I've bought many parts from http://partsamerica.com which is the same as http://summitracing will usually have the best prices if not using a coupon. Just put the part numbers in for all the differant places, total it all up with coupons, taxes and shipping and go for the best price. I've never been burned by any of these places.

Like the others have said, it depends on what your buying. For example, I purchased my BBC Edelbrock alum heads from carparts.com since nobody would come close to their prices including Summit, Jegs and PAW. I saved over $320 by using a 20% off coupon. The only thing that sucks is waiting to get the parts. It took almost a month to get the heads.

I was looking for a complete brake rebuild, calipers, rotors bearings and motor mounts. I ended up saving over $100 compared to carparts. Same parts and I picked them up at he store. I wasn't trying to slam carparts just making sure everyone was aware to shop around and don't get suckered into a coupon.
