First I would like to say this sight is great. I have only been a member for just under a week and have had two problems solved. Now on to my question.

I'm in the market for a new carpet set for my 72 Jimmy and would like to get some experiences and suggestions.
    Thanks for your help.

Blazerguy I've seen the kits in jcwhitney, but wasn't sure of the quality. Have you or someone you now bought one?

I also have had a carpet set from JC whitney and the "formed fit" must have been for a yugo, nothing fit, although it did last a good while.

I was just on E-bay and there's several full carpet sets selling there, just type in Blazer carpet or Blazer in the search feature. I'm going to need some soon too. JC Whitney's uses some weird fiber too. And STIFF when it's cold.
I put some in a Hurst Olds a while back, never fit.

hey there i just installed my carpet kit last year from acc mats and i was really happy with the fit i added 1 layer of dynamat, 1 layer of heat shield 1/2 inch and one layer of pading 1, and there was padding on the actual carpet and if fit fine even with all the extra insulation. it was a pain trying to put the seats back in but it all worked out and i am really happy with there product. anthony
