Unless you have a dana 44 with 4.56gear's.. make a package deal out of it..

Charlie, changing the topic here: are you running rear disc brakes, or going to? If so, I'm interested in buying the drum brake backing plates off that rear we traded for. I have a "project" and it requires the type of backing plates like your axle has - the bolt-on type e-brake cables. The rear I have has the newer, press-in type cables and the holes are different for what I need to run.

If you are or will be running rear disc sooner or later, let me know and I will buy those plates from you. [IMG]

If he doesnt want to sell the plates, you can have the ones off the axle im buying from you if theyll work. Ill be doing rear disc on that axle so I dont need any of the brake componants. (Not to mention it will be alot lighter!)

What rearend are you running? A true 1 ton or a 3/4 ton rear?

The ones Charlie has that I gave him are a true 1 ton rear. These plates are different than the 3/4 tons. [IMG]

I was refering to the rear axle that Im buying from you so i dont know what it is. I was just saying if you want the brakes off of it before we meet in KC then you can have them.

Does someone have disc brake setup for me to buy? I thought about it.. but .. I was going to keep the drum's.. I just bought new rear drum's from 45acp(Thanks again Bill Hughes)...
And I have new wheel cylinder's.. perhap's I could sell the whole setup and to buy the rear disc brake conversion..

This rear you are getting is a true 3/4 ton. I already have a spare set of these backing plates. [IMG]

Charlie, I don't really need the drums. I just want the backing plates. I'm pretty sure you can sell the drums to anybody else if they needed them. [IMG]

Let me know one way or another if you decide to do the rear disc and a price for your backing plates, when the time ever gets here. [IMG]
