Can you swap a carrier out of a 10bolt rear and install it in a front 10bolt? and vise-versa? I wasnt able to find anything on this. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

You just have to be careful on the spline counts for the axle shafts. There was an assortment of 28 and 30 splines axles used. But you can also swap the side gears to match the splines. For example, if you have a 30-spline rear and a 28-spline front, you can swap the side gears from the front diff into the rear diff, and then install the rear diff up front. However, if you have a Gov-Loc out back, then the side gears from an open front won't swap into it. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
