While my truck was in the shop(I'm not in my house yet), I asked the guy to get the casting # off the block. The number they gave me is this

    8670014

This does'nt match any of the # I have.

Anyone know what engine this # is for? Maybe it's supposed to be 397 0014?

    Thanks

First number is probably a 3, easy to confuse for an 8 on a dirty engine.

    I found a 3970014 that shows as a '70 to '76 350, 2 or 4 bolt mains.

Yes, 99% chance it is 3970014. That is a very common 350 block casting.
