Started the disassembly of the 60 this weekend. All is going quite well. However, I went to pull the tie rod and am running into some problems. My 1" socket was too small and my 1-1/4" was too big. My 1-1/8 combo wrench also seemed too small. Does anyone know the size of this nut? Is it moganda metric? Or do I just need to clean some rust and stuff off and make the 1-1/8 fit? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

    Mine appears to be 1 1/16". I can't see why a 6 point 1 1/8" wouldn't work...

It sounds like tRusty has it, but I have also seen smaller nuts on the same TRE's, but of course they have have the same size holes in the middle.
