After listening to the wife tell me that my Blazer is too loud I've come to the conclusion that I need to quiet my truck down in order to quiet her down.

Does anyone know of a company that makes high-flow, high-performance catalytic converters?

I think buying the wife a muzzle would be cheaper.

    Thanks for the info.

look in either Summit or JCwitney. I can't remember but one has a cat for $56.

I just installed one on my 89 last Friday. Truckperformance.com has a universal and a direct-fit cat for most any car and truck. I bought the universal for about $85 dollars (incl. shipping) and paid $30 to have the old one cut off and the new one installed. Sounds great.

Who cares, just leave your truck LOUD, buy your wife some ear plugs.

wow I want a loud exhaust....everyone says mine needs to be louder. it still has the factory 1 7/8 diesel exhaust..but my engine is a 350 so its all plugged up and kinda getting to the point where I hear the 3" exhaust system calling me.

I put in the Summitt hiflow CAT and welded some Summitt 3-bolt header flanges to both the CAT and the pipes. Easy to work with because if you have to pull tranny it saves you cutting the pipe (assuming single exh w/crossover pipe.)
