How long has your catalytic converter lasted. What are some of the brands of cats you have used to replace the original with? Also, what are some good after cat exhaust kits (ie; mufflers and pipes)? Thanks.

Converters can only be replaced after 50,000 mi. A good aftermarket exhaust is flowmaster, had a tfx on an 89 blazer and liked it alot. Fit and finish were good and it had a stainless tip. Headman and dynomax make good high low cats. They will usally last between 60,000 to 100,000 mi.
