I'm not new to the wheeling world, but I am new to the CB radio world. I'd like some suggestions on a good radio/antenna combo to buy. I don't want or need anything fancy, but I would like to be able to communicate with the boys beyond the line of site our two-way handhelds allow. I also would like suggestions on where to mount an antenna to protect it from trees & such. I commonly have people riding on my toolbox, roof, and in the bed. I also sit fairly high (8" lift & 44's) so I don't want the antenna to go too high. Thanks in advance for the help.

Would that be available in a permanent mount? What would you suggest for a mounting location?
