Where does everyone install there remote CD player or for that does an in dash cd payer fit. and where would be a good place for a high powered amp fit so it was both free from the kids feet and away from the mud and water that gets over everything when wheelin. I have every thing to put in a great sound system but can't fine a good place. Need the pros and cons. Thanks Gary...

cd/tuner fits in dash with a bit of a faceplate to cover the hole.
how much mud and water does your interior see? if it's not that much, try raising your center console, and mounting it under there. if you submerge frequently, i'd go behind the panel in the rear fenders. it really depends how much space you want to devote to music, or kids and transpo, etc.
