Celebrity Headlight Upgrade for 89-91's

    I searched, I read and I am still confused...

    I would like some details about this headlight upgrade.

    If anyone has pics of this 'in-progress' I would like to see those.

    i attempted it and failed horribly. cut my 86 clip abd could never get it ti sit exactly right. a BIG kudos to CMOE caude he gave me a lot of info, i just faile d lol

    bought a 91 front clip 2 days later.

    i may have the parts for you if i didnt throw them out.

    Some years' (Chevrolet) Celebrity headlights fit into the place of one pair of the quads on 89-91 grilles... some pix I saved:

    So is it a direct-fit on 88-91 quads or does it require extensive mods?

    Well, looks like cutting and drilling, so it depends on what "extensive" means. Also looks like the OP trashed his radiator support trying :eek1:

    Well I am going to get a set of the lights and see about doing it on my '89. I will of course post pics as I work on it.

    Change that... I just called and ordered a set from my wreckin' yard buddy. I will mess with those this weekend.

    The Beniffers never really worked out. It's the TomKats that are the hot ticket now. A very nice set of headlights as well!:D:haha:

    good stuff. i definitly dont want plastic housing that will scratch up..i read the celebrity lights are a glass housing..hopefully someone will dig up something good about this or other light upgrades for the side by side quad lights like in a 91..post up brethren
