Changing CV joint u-joints

    Do I do these just like normal u-joints?

    no, you spend 5 times longer trying to beat the life out of them. The cv joint u joints were the hardest i've ever replaced. the problem i had is they are sealed by the factory. I think they inject green melted plastic and it seals them in real good. If you have access to a press, I would go that route. My vise just didn't have it in it to press them out. I beat the crap out of them with a 20 pound hammer for a few hours.

    85 Blazer on an 82 chassis, 6.2L Diesel, ORD flip, 35's with no cutting on a 4" lift.
