    I'm changing my 86 jimmy from a 350gasser to a 6.2any advice or parts you got would be great. Thanks for any help.

    Get EVERYTHING from the Diesel donor. Also get the Hanyes Diesel Repair manual. Might want to sign up for the Diesel Page at

    and they can give you lots of good information.

    I agree with SK-15.Get a donor truck for parts.I have a samekind of upcoming project,and I decided to get another truck so it's easy to change parts and no need to look for some small part from wrecking yard.

    I'm too lazy to stick shift,that's why I prefer autotranny.
