I have a 72 blazer, and I bought a key set, so that all the doors, glove box, and ignition are the same. The only problem is I don't know how to change the ignition insert. There is a key hole and a small round hole next to it. Any help would be appriciated.

Hey Yellowmoon, does that re-key kit replace the whole key switch unit? Did you have to rewire the key switch or did you just replace the guts? I'm thinking I may have a falty key switch and just curios if the WHOLE key assy came with your kit?

    Burt,

Most of the "re-key" kits just include the lock parts.....not the "rear" portion of the ignition switch....

It won't be THAT easy for you..... [IMG]
