    how many of you run channel 4? i heard this was the national 4x4 channel? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

    I've never heard of that? Everywhere I've lived chan 4 is almost useless because of all the big radios on channel 6.

    All but one place I've lived had a huge group on ch 6 that had competitions locally quite often. The whole band would be useless when everyone came to town for those things.

    [​IMG] Not a bad idea to try to set up a national channel for wheeling. I like the idea of putting the CB on a channel while wheeling so I could help out someone in need, or vice versa.

    i think it may be an east coast thing. We always go to Ch. 4 when we hit the trail. I have also heard that 16 is another that the 4x4 crowd will use. When I'm not on the trail, i just click up to 19 and listen.

    we alway use 37 since no one elseever uses it.

    Out here in Colorado we have used Ch 4 for years. we have also used Ch5.
