Off Camber 4 Wheel Drive club along with Morris Mountain ORV is proud to sponsor the first annual Jennifer Scott memorial Ride on April 22, 2006 at Morris Mountain ORV in Heflin, Alabama. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the March of Dimes in memory of Jennifer Scott. The event will include organized trail rides, obstacle challenges, giveaways, and a raffle thanks to our generous vendors!
Why we are doing this – Mike Scott
“If you didn’t know Jennifer you missed out on meeting one of the best co-pilots and as scary as it was sometimes a driver. Jennifer was a real character as many know and a lot of fun to have with you in the Jeep. She passed away in January of 2005 leaving behind a husband, two wonderful children ages two and five, and a whole lot of people who miss her. Aaron, our youngest son, was born 11 weeks premature and at only 3 pounds so the March of Dimes is very close to the hearts of my family. This event was started in memory of Jennifer and has been made possible by a very generous off road community and the hard work of a lot of my friends. This is one of those things you feel privileged to do for someone you miss and love so much.”
Net proceeds from registration and t-shirts will go to the March of Dimes, only subtracting PayPal fees and the cost of the event shirts! We will be hosting a raffle to raise additional funds for the March of Dimes and there is yet another way you can help us make a huge contribution to the March of Dimes and show the community that we care! You can collect donations from your friends, family, and co-workers to donate at the event or via the March of Dimes Walk America campaign. The top fund raisers will be eligible for a prize from our sponsoring vendors. For more details on how to become a member of our Walk America campaign please click HERE. http://www.walkamerica.org
    Venue Information:
Morris Mountain ORV was established in 2005 on over 600 acres owned by Randy and Kris Morris for the purpose of providing a place in the South East to enjoy the sport of off-roading. The park is located in Heflin, Alabama and has trails and obstacles for all levels of rigs and experience. For more information on Morris Mountain ORV click here.

    Event Information:
Registration will be open starting Friday April 21st at 6PM Central until 9PM Central and re-open Saturday April 22nd at 7AM Central and closing at 10:30AM Central. Organized trail rides will begin at 9AM and continue to be offered throughout the day. If you arrive late, more rides will leave out after lunch for the rest of the day. Primitive camping is available onsite and hotels are available in Oxford Alabama.

The obstacle challenge will run from 10am until noon, and from 2pm until 4pm. During this time participants are invited to compete for a chance at their choice of one of two $300 prize packages. Participants' rigs must have a minimum of 35” tires to complete the course, and time penalties will be assessed for use of a winch, and hitting cones on the final line. This challenge is a timed event so it should be a fun event even for spectators. The winner will be announced around 5PM at the competition site.
The raffle will be held around 5PM and will include chances for many great prizes supplied by our supporting vendors. The big prize will be the $300 prize package that the obstacle challenge winner did not choose! The two big packages are:
    1. Synthetic winch line, hook, and *Bling* Aluminum Fair lead from www.PeakEmpire.com
    2. A gift certificate worth $200 from www.4x4groupbuy.com, and other off-road goodies provided by various supporting sponsors.
    Other Raffle goodies include:
    • Warn recovery equipment (Warn, 4x4rockshop.com)
    • Four Rancho RS9000 Shocks of your choice (Rancho)
    • Off-Road Videos from Get Bent
    • Many other items, you have to come to find out!
