ok looking at the idea of maybe a small inexpensive system in my 71. This thing takes a beating in the weather so I"m planning on mounting the amps in the....well where the glovebox used to be. fiberglass boxes etc..
any suggestions, I know the real cheap like boss amps and pyramid etc have a history of dying early and bad overall, I know truckin did a whole jenson system about 6 yrs ago and they said it turned out suprisingly well, I don't want something that will bass like a lead slead from the 70s, those are on the other side of town, just something to enjoy when I"m out running around. just speakers and amps is all I'm looking for I'm running all this off a 95 s-10 stock headunit

Sure. Buy my sub like you said you would. Then buy a cheap kenwood amp like I have...works great. Buy 2 6x9's at a garage sale and clear coat them so they deflect H2O. Last but not least, wheel that thing instead of crusiing the mall looking for high school girls ya pansy. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

ain't you got something better to do... glove box door is still there just using it to conseal the amps, I am going to buy that autotec sub, but it's for the house, and technically I think mine's been offroad about as many times as yours has so when your ready I'll ship that box of cheese to go with that whine
right now I have to fix the tcase seals and fix the tcase shifter, it broke after I did the ramp but it did start to go into all the ranges
