Cheap hydraulic JD2 set-up (pics)

    From previous posts, you may know I was having a hell of a time bending .134 2" tubing even with my JD2. Just couldn't get enough leverage. Instead of using a ten foot cheater bar, I decided to use the 8 ton ram from my engine hoist. Just mounted to a couple C-channels and it works great. I needed to add a little hyd fluid through the fill hole for horizontal operation. The ram can be purchased from Harbor Freight by itself for about $60. You can also get a air/hydraulic unit with no pumping needed for $89. Hope it helps someone. JT
