my experience with wild country tires was not good, they wore fast, they are not constructed heavy enough to support a 6500 LB truck, the tread does not clean very well. I dunno I know that I would never buy them again. it basicly comes down to you get what you pay for. I was in the tire shop every other day for two weeks last summer, at which time i finnaly broke down and bought SSR's.

I had Wild Country's once....ONCE is the key word here. You couldn't pay me to put those things on a truck again. More flats, more stucks than I have ever had... 3 seperations...and then they were bald in 12,000 miles.
You just can't polish a turd.

Yep, yep, yep. A buddy of mine worked at a tire shop locally, and got a set of those. He warrantied 2 of the tires for multiple flats before just throwing them away (in about 5 mos.) and buying some BFG's. Those tires are not inexpensive, they are cheap.

a guy at work has them and he sais he loves them.he has the 33x10.5 15's on his jeep.he has about 5000 miles on them and almost no tread wear.they have a pretty good tread pattern also.i could never find them for that cheap though so i never bought them.ithink im getting them just to see how they run.for that cheap if they only last a year then im doing pretty good i think.lets me save up for something better while i run the cheapies.

My dad has a set of those for his '82 1 ton and he hates them. he only runs them in the summer cause they turn his truck into sled in snow.

if you look at the site, they are called take offs.so it means that someone has used them and had them "taken off" because they didnt like the way they rode.they get them from the manufacturer as a used tire but they are checked for defects before they leave the factory just like a new tire would.285 dollars is not bad for a set of 4 tires with shipping.
