Has anyone noticed how many votes toyotaoffroad.com has received within the last three days? Maybe an e-mail to webmaster@top4x4sites.com is in order.

They aren't even in the top 25 so I dunno how they would be cheating...?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. They're not even close to us.

The Webmaster removed them from the board. They had received four hundred votes in two days. I believe they had jumped from 13th place to 4th.

    Yes, I saw that.
I also noticed another site that was bumped
A brand new one Judgeride or something.
They had over 200 votes in one day and they have also disappeared.

Another that has shot up to the top in the last few days is
4wd links. Wonder about that one.

What's up with all the cheating lately?

Jealousy. Cheating is the only way they can attempt to bump us from the #1 spot. But appearantly not even that works [IMG]

Ok how the heck is it chgeating? I have never understood that... like a bunch of member from here popping in and out or voting everytime they are online isn't cheating? I guess I have never really understood the whole deal, so if someone can explain it all?

<font color=purple> All I know and do is vote twice a day ......... Once at work and once at home ........ I think it's o.k. to do that ....... I don't think that using many other computers is o.k. though, like at a college or something like that.

If you delete your cookies and have the ability to change IPs anytime you want, a person could vote 500 times a day if they felt like it.

Speaking of cheating, check out the Binder Bulletin.....they've gained over 400 votes in the last 48 hours...

Too bad more people can't play by the rules. It looks like someone is going to have to get ahold of the top4x4sites webmaster and fill him in............

There's only one problem - in the first 3 days we had 500 votes, but in the last 12 days or so we've only managed to double that. Everyone has to do their part EVERYDAY!!!!

<font color=purple> We do need to keep it up ! I think the big issue here is seeing a group gain WAY more votes in a small period of time than they ever have or that the site is voting more than it has visitors !

<font color=purple> In reality, that is the real issue here ......... I loved this site before it was on a top 4x4 site list ! I'd love it if it was dead last on the list, but it is nice to see your favorite site get some good recognition .......... besides, it kind of like your favorite football team winning the Superbowl every month !
