check engine light code 44 ?

    anybody know what would make that code come up?what should i change? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif the engine is an 87 tbi

    thanks .trying to figure out why it's runnin' lean.may have vac. hose crossed or missing i do't have a diagram for it .know where i can get one.what else could it be? /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

  6. I think 44 was the code I got when my fuel filter was clogged.

    i got one layin' around here, guess i'll put it in and see if it works.any other suggestions is your a 87 can you get me info on where the hoses go.thanks!

    ok! I changed the fuel filter drove around no check engine light!hooray!seems to be driving better. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
