I like that rear bumper, it hides the body lift and makes it look all spring! Your setup is much like mine, but you've got a little suspension on me. So much cought my eye that I have to ask questions though, ready?

Refresh me on your spring setup again... 7" suspension (6" + 1" zero rate?) front and ? back?
Who made your greasable shackle bushings?
Did you shave the tailgate on?

I can't wait to see it together, especially at full stuff! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
How long is Never for 2.0?

I just went through your album - great dash you made there! And I really like your tube door idea!

I guess I figured 5" on your shackles/flip and 2" tuff country springs. Then in the front I am going with a D60 and 6" springs. The busings are ORD /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif
I am in the process of welding the tailgate on but finishing it is low on my list of priorities at the moment.
It is almost too tall at this point. Of course its all unsprung weight I am sure it will settle when I put the tires on today. But I dont think 44's will be a problem.

    Re: Check out borregok5\'s shackles

The hardest part was getting the old shackles off. The bolts were rusted to the old steel insert in the bushing and there is no way in the world I could ever have gotten them off with out a cutting torch. I had an 8 FOOT breaker bar on the bolts and they wouldnt budge and thats no joke. Other than that it was truly bolt on.

I just went to put the spring plates on and realized the u-bolts are for a 10 leaf spring 1 ton and the threads dont go down far enough. So it wont be done this weekend cause the big truck parts store is closed...what a bummer.......Maybe Monday. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif
