So, what's the specs on this new project and what's your goal? Rocks? Desert? Mall crawling? Cruisin for Hos? The world needs and wants answers and we demand them whenever you feel like answering.

ok well all the specs as i know them so far:

    1979 GMC jimmy
no motor tranny or t-case installed but have a rebuilt TH350/205 combo and a 350 with 20,000 miles to put in it..what i wanted to do with it was put it together a and get the hood repainted since most of it flaked off and its more place primer on it that there is white..so that needs to be done...and just get it lookin decent. i dident plan on puttin on anykind of lift on it...if anything at all maybe just a 2 inch so it dosent look like it got shot in the ass and some 31 inch tires at most..i wanted to use it as a tow rig...but...i should have known better..i have towed with my 88 and almost everytime i thought i was goin to die by goin flyin off a cliff from the trailer whipin so bad..so really...i dont know what i am goin to do with it yet...it was too good of a deal to pass up so i put myself even more in the hole...i think i have problems...every vehicle i own has some problem that makes it so it cant be drivin on the street.. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
