thanx... man that 50 is going to be a great little ride when I get it done. I've pretty much got everything down far enough that I'm in the $$$ spending stages. I've got a few more things to remove on the frame, and some more disassembly in the cab.

first thing I have to do is to put the new fire walls & flooring in. (that means a new mig welder & lots of playing /forums/images/icons/cool.gif) LOL

LOL - hey I like the 50 too! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif it has been a pretty fun project so far, but I expect it to get much more difficult fairly quickly. (and expensive too... /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif)

No the hard part is over, it's getting the old froozen, rusted, molded stuff off and out of it, everything now is gonna be new . nice and easy,LOL
    (rolls eyes..we can pretend,/forums/images/icons/wink.gif
Thats as far as I got the the 1937 Ford sedan I had, tore it all apart and there it sat. Frame was rusted through and it needed a whole floor. Which back then I had no idea how or where to begin,LOL Now I would just start cutting and welding/forums/images/icons/cool.gif
I just can't leave anything alone, I have to change it some how, like the camaro side markets in the front valance, or the vette tail lights, plus I want camaro or olds aurora headlights in it, ...
I even put camaroside markers in the Willy's grill,LOL and I want 67 to 72 taillights in it too to keep it chevy
    MMMmm cars...(drool)

I think I took the plung when I looked at the rust in the floor of the Willy's and rolled the torch over and started cutting,LOL Well no turning back now,LOL
And my 40 coupe I have is sitting on a 73 truck frame and is channeled over it 4" so I know what it is to jump in on things.

1955 Willy..building it and keeping it
    1979 Jimmy..clean up and sell
my brothers 50 truck is back here and my dads 29 sedan is do to be started.
in the pic you can see my brothers 81 blazer and the 77 blazer behind the fence,LOL

It's gonna be plain steel for a long time, I don't have 4 big ones to throw down on a grill.
