Hey now, It left the driveway! I made it 10 miles on monday!

It snowed the sunday before the spring thing and it didnt get nice until thursday. I worked on it all day thurs and fri but there are a few bugs I couldnt get worked out.

I need to get some sort of torque bracket for the tcase and fix the rear brakes, then it will be **done**

Oh yeah and I better get bumpers so I dont puncture the gas tank on a stump or kill a bus load of school children while I am out street racing....

What information do you have on that crossover steering setup?

That is something that I would like to eventually upgrade on my truck.

Is steering a lot more responsive?

i dont think my steering got any more "responsive" when i went to crossover... it just worked no matter how much my front suspension was flexing, as opposed to the stock stuff where as soon as I started to flex, i had no steering control whatsoever. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Compared to the 6" drop drag link and stock front to back steering box I had on it I must say I do have a much better truning radius. I dont struggle with sharp corners any more even with the detroit in the back, but I still get the tire bark. It does wander on the road with the 38's and has a little bit of slop in the steering wheel. Its no Z06 vette in the suspension department!

I am very happy with the X-Over and highly reccomend it /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
