Has anyone seen these? I think these may have been the ones 'Quack Addict' may have been talking about a month or so ago.
I cant seem to find them anywhere on the net. Looks like they say 'Crawler Extreme Terrain' but I cant see the make of them on the sidewall. The damn shadow is in the way /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Anyways, they are at the bottom on the hummer. Click the pic to blow it up larger.

Those look like Nitto Mud Grappler's. They bear an identical resemblence to the ones on the back of the Four Wheeler October 2003 issue on a heep.

h2 has an electric rear locker, good approach/departure angles, rock sliders that actually work, lots of skid plating, air bag suspension (could prolly be retained even with lifts/mods... could be handy), 4L65-E (neat tow mode + OD!), 2,64:1 tcase ratio, 4.10 gears, really nice seats, and onstar standard. In short, it has a lot of features stock that are clearly superior to the ones my K5 had stock... so I dont see why the h2 doesnt get any love. Could my K5 own it offroad? sure, but its had a chit load of $ poured into it to make it that capable. As far as it being the yuppie-mobile... a) i dont care what other peeps think about my ride, b) real yuppies would avoid it so they dont get in arguements with their "green" friends, and c) environmentalists hate it, and therefore its good.

im not gonna be able to afford a h2 anytime soon...but I think they are ok. All they need to do is get the SUT version out there with an optional 8.1L (or durmax) and an Allison and it'd be rockin.

yea but you probably havent spent $80000 on your k5. I could make my k5 way better than a h2 if I had an extra 20gs laying around

i think the point is that when u compare the two vehicles it isnt right to compare a stock h2 to a totally tricked out K5. In a lot of ways the h2 is superior in stock form.

and you'd be the first person ever to have a D60 front and 10b rear. . .

H2s would be ok with indepent suspension portal axles, sic clearance, a new body, and a 6.6l diesel. . .
    oh wait. . . that's an H1. . . /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That would be a 9.5 inch semi float rear with a locker. Same shaft diameter as a D60... Thinking about this combo on a Burb.

Fixed it for you. BIG difference too!

I think the H2 is pathetic simply because it is not an improvement over the first Hummer.
