Dell just gave me $600+ in free equipment cause they shipped it to me in error 5 months ago and can't figure out why... They said it's too old to send back, I can just keep it.

Darn, no smilies to make this seem friendlier than black and white...

Ahh, it was nothing to be excited about... I just wanted to break BRB's chops. The guy on the phone was awesome, I basically said "this order was shipped to me in July, but I never ordered them and won't be paying for them, do you want them back?" He did about 20 minutes of paper chasing, and told me not to worry about them, he noted in the account that he told me to keep them, and gave me a case number as an "out" if a problem comes from it.
It's Modems and cables, but it's top of the line equipment. The guy from dell actually told me I should sell them, he thinks I can make that much, the original invoice was over $600. THat would be pretty neat, I'd get the WB140 then. :woot:
I think I'll keep one for my house, the firewall can use it as a dial-out backup or dial-in to config unit.

Anybody wanna buy a USR 5686 for $100? Cables for it included free!
