There was a thread on these earlier I belive.

If I remeber right there were a couple of companies that built these and they were mad specifically for the K5.
For the life of me i don't remember the names though. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

My friend just bought a '76 blazer with one of those one it. I'm going down to New Mexico next week to check it out (as well as 4 wheel of course) and I will take tons of pics and probably post em in the garage for all to see. His was made by Four Wheel pop-up campers. Four Wheel

with the pop up feature(not the chalet), it would be much lighter than the chalet(even if it does pop up. If you were to buy that k5 on ebay, you would get a pretty good deal, considering the shape of it and with the camper.

Also, you'll notice that this one does not extend past the
rear of the k5 so it's much lighter just with that design.

I had one for sale forever just like that one.
No one was interested so I had it as a come and get it and it's yours thing. Still no takers.
So I cut it up for scrap, got about 300 lbs of aluminum from it.
The frame is not wood, it is 1x1" square tube aluminum.
