Sorry I don't know how to link from here. There is a Blazer for sale on ebay. If you type in chevy blazer, it should be about the 4th page. Not a bad truck but 55 000 invested without a lift kit or REAL tires, gimmie a break. Let us know what you think.

wish i could build a truck with 55,000. It would be a sweet truck. Much better than that one. You think with that much money invested it would be show quality. I would like to see that idiot that thinks he is going to get 19,000 for it.

Ummmmm, don't most people cover the trim when they paint, and not just spray over it??
I'm with trujunkie, 'cept I'd spend the LEFTOVER money on a military recovery vehicle (duece and 1/2)... ESPECIALLY if I was starting the project with a 25k miled, garaged gem...
There're a couple things not right on this truck. No, really, I mean with the truck, not just the mystery $55000 (where'd it go?).

I got it!! $40,000 in beer drank while performing restoration over last 10 years!!! This way he's making a profit on the 15K that actually went into the truck itself, and not the whole project...

Now watch, after all this, tomorrow he'll edit it to say "Sorry for the typo, $5k invested"...

Very strange indeed. If it was garaged the whole time and only had 25k miles on it, the truck should've been perfect to begin with. So if he didn't upgrade that much stuff, where did the money go? I don't get it. If that Blazer started out as a rusted shell with a bent frame, I might be able to see 55k, but even then thats too much cash.

This guy is high on something, maybe he was sniffing the paint to much. Was wondering why he lowered the t-case with the stock springs on it.

I have to agree. This guy is smokin' something. He will never get it. When you have that kind of money invested (if it is true) you will never get your money. Which he has a price tag of 19 thousand something, but he will never even get that.

I'm thinking maybe this guy doesn't know how to type and got his decimals in the wrong spot........
$5,500.oo spent, selling for $1,900.00 sound more reasonable.

Actually, I can see someone spending that much time and money on that K5. I frame up resto like that takes money and puts it places you cant even imagine. I have a freind of mine that restored a 1979 Camaro. Jeff spent well over 70 grand on this thing, and I tell you what this thing is amazing to look at. It looks like it came off the show room floor. Its like a time warp, it trult looks undriven and brand new, but if you were to just glance or see it in pics, you would think it was just a clean old car, kind of like this Blazer. Now, that being said, I don't see him getting that kind of cash for that thing. Hell, best of luck to him. Also, I think the true downfall to it is that he cut the damn doors and put in some ancient looking 6x9's. Man not very impressive, all that work to hack up the doors. Oh well, just my .02[IMG]

Sorry guys, I think it looks like a clean GAY pavement pounder truck, it even has the 1980's style graphics, hello 1985 calling, we want our paint scheme back. [IMG]
Almost all of the members here have nicer K5's than that. Sorry I don't normally dog K5's but good luck getting 5K for that let alone 19K.
