found 1" oily rubber tube fixed to the diffs top!
found another 2" fixed to the fraime right under the servo, cutted both ends.
What is it for, does it belong together?!?

These are breather tubes. You should have them on both dif's, x-fer case, and trans. Make sure you have a breather on the top to keep water out. Jim.

Thats your breather for the diff. The tube/pipe allows your diff to adjust the pressure inside itself depending on the temp. of the oil inside. Yes the tube should at least long enough not to suck in water (if you do wade the truck into water) Your rear diff should have one too - the same applies there. Good to check your auto. trans. while your'e at it. Very few people know that the automatic trans. has a simular breather on top and usually it does not have a pipe to keep it above deep water. Getting water in there will damage the auto unit very quickly.

IF IT DOES NOT HAVE 8 PISTONS - IT'S BROKEN !

Hey Balou, your manual trans will have a vent too!! You need to find it and extend/repair it too. Water in there will eat the manual trans up, just not quite as fast as an auto. You may want to check/change your vital fluids.
