Well i have found the output shaft for the 208 chevy to make it a fixed style - but the housing appears to be obsolite - i will check on different vendors and see if i can get maybe an old stock part # or aftermarket- i have found there are 7 differnt housings offerd with the dodge case making it real fun to see what will fit the chevy 208- anyone have a dodge case 208- laying around with a casting # might help the puzzel get smaller- Guys I am tring here - i Build drivelines but am tired of the cheesy slip yoke stuff for your fix it just makes me sick not being able to make a tough line when you call with your 6" lift and 83 k5- i will continue to search-

Hey, thanks for your hard work. We appreciate what you're trying to do for us.
I'll be calling in the near future for your 1350CV front and rear shafts for NP205 [IMG]
Also, the ebrake for the rear dshaft, if it's available...need an ebrake here since I've gone with the rear disk setup.[IMG]

if you need a guinea pig let me know, I'm right in the middle of a build up that I would love to enclude getting rid of my slip yoke. I don't mind working out any bugs to help.

Whats wrong with big and wide?

today i got a lead on a new part that might make all this slip yoke stuff more easier to deal with- the main problem in my opinion is this - the current cady slip style c/v is cheesy and will not go more than 20 degree's with out problems- but i have a lead on a 1350 series c/v 208 chevy slip yoke being produced soon- i will get more details on monday - but this seems might be a second better idea than the 3r series cad yoke pos-

Can't you just make one? I know you've got an awful lot of equippment, so why not make your own? If you do you can design it however you want. I'll be in line to pay $500 or so for a good shaft next year.

Let me know. In a week or so I will be replacing my rear axle and will be in the need of upgrading my driveshaft. I would really like to improve it rather than just making it work. I figure since I'm goigh thru all the work to upgrad my axles I might as well fix the slip yoke problem too. I like the weight advantage the 298 has and would hate to have to relpace it with another transfer case.

    Please keep me informed.

I like the low range of the 208s and 241s more than the weight savings. I can deal with the fact that it's not as strong.
