Does a Ford F250 with the Dana 60 front axle have 6 or 8 lugs? If it has 6 lugs does anyone know if you can put a Ford F250 Dana 60 6 lug hub and rotor on a GM Dana 60 spindle?

You may need to put anti-rejection drugs in the gas tank if you go with a F$%D part!!!! LOL [IMG]

Biggest problem with using a Ford Dana 60 is that the diff is offset to the drivers side unlike Chevy and Dodge that have it on the passenger side. Your easiest route is a Chevy Dana 60 front. It's a direct bolt in and I think all Dana 60 fronts are 8 lug unless its a custom job like Dynatrac.

    Good Luck

Ford has never used 6 lug on anything. Half tons are 5 lug, 3/4 and 1 tons are 8 lug.

Thanks Tim that was the answer I was looking for. I called Dynatrac first, are you ready? A Dana 60 with any gear, a Detroit locker, 6 lug outers, 35 spline inner and outer axles, Warn Premium hubs, a crossover steering knuckle installed, delivered to my house is: $4789. They will sell me the 6 lug hubs to fit on a stock Dana 60 of my finding for $500. That is why I'm looking into building up a stock Dana 60. The good news they will sell me the reverse rotation Dana 60 front axle for almost the same price.

Ford never made 6 lug, and you can't inter mix Chevy and Ford outers. Ford outer stubs are if I remember correctly, 2" shorter than Chevy. So that shoots combining the hubs. However everything else is the same. Now the way to do it cheaper... buy a Ford center section and weld the tubes from a Chevy or Dodge 60. Ahhh now you are talkin'! Reverse cut gears, nice high pinion and uh oh yeah those danged 8 lugs! Oh well... good luck!
