I do have one, my dad wants one now.

We were suppose to go out to powermad's today to get one from a buddy's of his. But last night he told me the motor is toast, a guy was hauling it in the back of his truck taking it to powermad's house for me to pick up and ended up getting in a wreck, well the 400 bounced and rolled down the highway :(

There is another 400 that I forgot about.
It was the one that was full of wood ants when I peeled the heads off.
I'll drag it over and check it out.
Same source and maybe between the 2 plants we can make something work
I'll get it here and hone the crud out of the bores and see if it is worth foolin with.
Oh and the 3 freeze plug per side for a 400 is a myth. The late 400 had 2 per side.
The other 400 is from a 70 Elcamino, chances are it is a 4 bolt main.
I'll pack the sucker to my place and check it out for ya.
Ya may not be out of the game yet.
Same price as before. $250 complete from aircleaner to pan, damper to flywheel with all the brackets and accys.
I still don't know what pisses me off more, my creeper gettin wasted or a perfectly good 400.
Oh it had steel timing gears, it looks like it had just been over revved.
The cam/lifters and all bearings were in great shape.
It is a travesty but all may not be lost.
    Happy new year.
