Right now my whole house like Chili. I'm making Chili from scratch, no damn chili in a can here. Chopped up some onion, green pepper, jalapino, 3 cans of chili bean. Using roast beef and hamburger, got the chili powder in there. Been simmering on just above low for about 2 hours now. Going to let it simmer another 4 hours. Uh, yeah, I make big pot of chili. Don't know how too make it smaller. 1 and a half pound of hamburger, and 2 pounds of roast beef that I cubed up. Mmmm, I think it's going to be good !!!!!

Don't forget the quart of Tabasco sauce! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

And to add more "flavor" other than the jalapenos, add some habaneros for that extra "kick". /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I used Garlic salt in the hamburger as I was browning it prior to dumping it in the pot.

That's crazy that you posted this 'cause I just had 3 huge bowls of chili (homemade of course) at a Badger Football Game tail-gate today. It was great (the chili, not the game - we lost to OSU).
Anyway, just be glad that computers can't transfer smells, because right now I'd be your least favorite person to talk to. Gotta love spicy chili loaded with chili beans. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'm letting it simmer over night. Chili only gets better the longer it simmers.
