    Hello,
Well this is the most stupid question I have ever asked, I think!!!!!

My 86 Blazer has the comp Rochester, stock but has a hard time starting when cold. I noticed that the line coming from the chock has been pluged off. Had the truck for a while but just noticed this.
Do i just run this hose to a vacume hole on the manifold or one on the carb.

    Thanks for the help.

There should be a sticker under the hood that shows where all the hoses go, if not ask and I will scan the one I have from the manual and post it for you.

    Eagle,
Thanks for the reply. There is no sticker under the hood, previous owner must have peeled. I would really appreciate the scan. If any one can tell me where to just hook it up that would be great too.
    Thanks.

Your Blazer should have come with an electric choke. It sounds like you have an older carb with a hot air choke. You can go to Autozone and buy the electric choke insert for about $25.00. Any more questions give me a holler.

    Lew,
I searched through all 57 vac hose diagrams for an 86 Blazer and none of them show what you have, the other gentleman is correct. They came with an electric choke, and it is possible to but it as an add on...sorry I cannot help you more...

Here is the best I can do for you...the Chiltons manual is not very explicit in the diagrams until 84 , then they have about 20. Hope this helps...

    Ray,

Do you have the chiltons manual for the blazers? If so, I was going to order one but was wondering why it only goes to the year '82? I have a '84, is there much difference b/w them?
