Thinking of getting this for my mother for Christmas. I think it would be nice for her bedroom. I put the old livingroom TV in her bedroom (27" Toshiba) and I think the DVD/VCR combo would be nice for her. [IMG] [IMG]

[/ QUOTE ] She doesn't have a DVD player or VCR in her bedroom, and the old Vector Research stereo only works on one channel, plus the speakers are kinda big for her room. So I think this would be really nice for her. I have a Bestbuy card, but I've found it cheaper on the net. Heck, there's even a few on Ebay (New in box). I'm bidding, hope I'll win one, if not, there is always putting it in one of the cards.

In my opinion you are buying your mom everything you would like to own yourself. It just looks better if it's a gift to her. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif You gonna buy her some 44" boggers next?

Geeesh Paul, put that stuff in some sort of entertainment center or something. Even shelves made out of milk crates would work... Sorta redneck looking though... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

OH! Now I see the stand.. It looked like it was all stacked up on each other at first glance... Looked like it could tip over pretty easy.

[/ QUOTE ] Nope, wide base, won't tip. I've moved it a few times and it's very stable. Infact, it's kinda hard too move with all the haevy A/V equipment on it.
