It's about 55 right now. I went outside and tore out the rear springs. This winter sucks. It's supposed to be cold and snowy. Instead we get ass biting cold on some days, just had a little snow a few days ago other than that, it's been warm...................

It was -2 this morning. There is about 12" of snow on the ground, with drifts 2 feet deep. I think it got up to 32 today, though.Anybody want some cold? Come and get it.

We didn't get above 30 degrees (F) for like a month... the Christmas comes around, the time of year I remember a foot or two of snow being on the ground in the city, and the temp jumps up and it starts raining and it nearly all melts away. Since the last 5 or more years have been pathetic winters with no snow on Christmas and temperatures that melt snow the day after it falls, I actually though we'd get a white Christmas this year beings that we had several inches of snow and it stayed cold.

    Nope.

Almost no snow in the city, and less than a foot up north, where by normal years there should have been 3-5 feet by now or more. I read an article that said we were way below average snowfall, and even last year (which I thought was so majorly pathetic it wasn't funny) the snow pack was better than this year.

I've noticed in my area, we don't have one season. Winter has cold spells, and when the moisture decides it's ready to show up, the cold leaves and it gets warm. When the moisture is gone, it gets cold again. If by chance moisture and cold show up at the same time, on is sure to leave in a hurry soon after.

When I was a kid we had something called winter... snow all season long in the yard in the city, enough snow piled up from shoveling the driveway we made a sledding hill in the yard, and being able to wake up every other morning to 1-3 cars stuck in the street with people pushing on them trying to get moving.

No wonder there are so many ricers around nowadays. The weather lets them drive year round. And I was SO hoping to get alot of snow and demonstrate to the ricer car owners that only real vehicles can survive our winters.

The Christmas song "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" is right... only way we have a white Christmas in Spokane anymore is if you dream it.

Don't feel like Xmas here either..

It was a sunny 45-50 degree day here today.--feels more like october than december!--it might rain later tommorrow or at night heavily..we had bitter cold most of this month,we still have some snow covering the ground, but lots of bare patches too..so its a "white and brown-green" Christmas this year around here..

I just hope it STAYS on the warmer side ,or at least "normal or average" temparatures this winter..so far its been a COLD month, with it dropping below zero more than a few nights already..bad storm too!..I can't take another one like LAST winter..nine FEET of snow..UGH!!!:(

I'm fairly far North, well into Alberta, Canada, and it is 10 degrees celcious up here at the moment!

I mean seriously, there isn't a fleck of snow in sight, and usually, we have several feet of snow, and it is blisteringly cold out by now!

If this is global warming, BRING IT ON BABY! :haha:
