Hehe, take it easy on him. He is a new guy.
The reason he says not again is because 99% of the guys on this site are STRONGLY against putting any more money into 10 bolts since they are the weakest axles available for our trucks. If you are going to sink a bunch of money on parts like you suggested you had might as well just purchase yourself a D60. At least that is what I am guessing everyone is going to say.
Just run your 10 bolt until it explodes and then swap in a D60 (it is better to have the D60 on hand before you blow your 10 bolt).
Others will advocate that if you are a light wheeler you can get away with running a 10 bolt forever. I have a D44 in mine right now, and I am constantly looking for a D60. They are spendy, but more economical to spend the money on a good strong product then to keep trying to build up junk.
You can get away with 35" or so tires on your 10 bolt stock probably for a while (maybe forever) depending on how light your right foot is, but if you ever plan on going to bigger tires (37"+) then you should also plan on going to a better axle (read D60).
    Anyone else have any comments?

ORD's CMoly axels are made by WARN.
If you get CM axles get the WARN ones from ORD!! THey are the best!
Or save your money and find a D60 but once you start that project yer gonna get hooked and spend a Lot on all the cool stuff out there.....

i used to run ord/warn chrome-mos in my old 10 bolt, worked fine for 35s. Putting the same $ towards a D60 front axle is a better long term investment though... anyone who wants to go 37 now will eventually wanna run 38s or 39.5s or something, and those are gonna break a 10 bolt, one way or another.
