Both items are on deadline status and the fuse block has nothing listed for either one. I checked the fuses that I thought it could be, but no joy. Couldn't trace it in the wiring diagrams either.

'87 K5, anyone know which fuse I need to replace?

Look for a fuse marked Int Lts, it controls the cig ltr and overhead int lights.

No fuses marked with that. There are two in the upper left side, 20 Amp, ya think that would be them?

Try "T/L CTSY" it is a 20A fuse, just below the HORN/DM fuse.

If the horn works, your problem might not be a fuse. Not sure if it is true of all yrs, but my horn, cig ltr, and my upper interior lights are on the same circuit. Recently chased a short in mine and it turned out to be the cig ltr.

Guess I'll jump on in with my electricNONworks. Have checked all my fuses and they are not blown. Replaced the lower courtesy light bulb and the two upper dome light bulbs. The lower courtesy light comes on via turning the knob at light switch. I thought that the two upper dome lights should come on via the switch as well but they dont. Also, thought that the interior lights should come on when open the doors but they don't. Should I replace the switches that are in the door jambs? Also, anyone know about why upper dome lights wont come on when turn the knob? I'm guessing a break in the wires to the upper lights. My thougts were that if someone took the cap off maybe they cut the wiring. Why, I couldn't begin to speculate except that they were stupid as [censored]. For instance, rather than unbolting the starter wiring they cut it and put wire nuts on it like a housejob. Anyone care to share let me know I'm all ears /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Forgot to add that the cigarette lighter is broken and their is an orange wire danglin and a white wire with a lug on it danglin also. After reading through the prior post again sounds like that could be the problemo? Probably not but just getting all the info out there.

The orange/white wire are the correcto colors for the interior lights and the cig ltr.

Just checked those fuses, all good; so it looks like I'm off to chase wires for awhile when I have time/or when the wife takes it to someone before the end of the week.

Probably not your case, but my cig lighter would short my radio and dome lights causing none of the 3 to work. Might check your radio fuse as well as it's kinda looped in there.
