I played there once when my brother was in College at NAU! Wish I had more than a rental jeep to play with. Nice pics.

Well , I was sitting by the fire with a beer after I lost Fred . Ending up losing my antenna finally beyond repair . Great weekend :waytogo:

Ask Fred how I did in that bowl this morning .... uphill seesawing it like I was in mud all the way to the top :pimp:

It was cool to meet you and your family Paul. Thanks for the pics! I didn't take any, but Pauly will have a bunch. Let's do it again when you guys have some more time to wheel (ahem, Travis, cough, ahem:rolleyes: ).

After you guys left Strawberry bowl, I had to go down and rescue Justin from the soft stuff at the bottom. Went to drag him out backwards, but his truck wouldn't start. Strapped him up the hill dead, once on top, of course the truck started then:doah: . Go figure.

Had a little oops today. Heading up to the top of one of the hills to overlook 100$, took the wrong line:o . Didn't realize how soft it was, and not enough speed. After zig zagging 1/2 mile at a 45 up through the trees and 500 feet verticle I wasn't about to back down. Shooed Pauly by me on the packed line, watched him disappear over the top about 400 yards away. Wound up winching over to the harder pack stuff, so as not to roll down the hill to my death.

I'll let Pauly tell about his oops from Saturday. He's got the down hill thing figured out now, I'd say:haha:

Also time to change my Sig. Thanks Pauly:haha:

Oh man that downhill was soft . I like that I am now semi famous with the ATV crowd after that guy came up and asked me why I had no body damage seeing as how I was between the trees .

I am all down for going down that hill again !!!

It was lucky , nearly every tree has a log next to it to lift body away from tree , and nearly every tree is a k5 width

Even living in Flag forever, cinders are still weird to drive on. Kinda like snow, looks soft and yet you drive right on through. Or looks ok and you sink and spin all over :p:
