Is the Suburban 3rd row seat the same as the crew cabs back seat?
I just guessed, caused the 3rd seat seens pretty narrow.
I guessed too, I figured the right answer would be posted but now I feel like a jackass because I have no idea and that was a serious question...
And the suspense builds......
it is nothing near the same seat. it would be closer to a blazer rear seat.
Woo hoo. So I was right and the first one to be so. What do I win?
Ok. It's not the same seat. They do have, however, the same RPO code (AS3 Seat,RR Bench), where none of the other rear seats for any other models have that code.
Uhh..how about a rear seat to a crewcab? I have a nice soaked rotting one in the back somewhere....
But you have to pay taxes and shipping....
Nope, it's identical (at least for 73-78) to the Blazer rear seat. Might be identical in later years as well.
Proof once again that GM is silly
You spending your holiday reading the parts manual? (I should talk, as I've been doing the same thing this week, for my latest top-secret project.)
Yep. I can get lost in these books for hours. I was trying to lookup up a few things I needed, one of which is rear seat cloth for my K5. Trying to maintain as OEM look as a fiberglassed body/with H2 wheels, full roll cage can look. hahahahha
so technically according to gm, they are the same seat. trick question. haha
3ed row fin inbetwen the wheel wells crew cabs are full widths, and they have the same code??
Separate names with a comma.
