OK, after much debate, consideration and sleepless nights and consultation with Stephen watson (and 1 year off), I have tentatively decided to have the CK5 run in Moab 2002 over Labor day (Aug 31- Sept 2nd), maybe every year. It is the only place that has many trails from easy to hardcore all within minutes of each other, not to mention Hotel's and camping as well as gas stations/restaurants etc. even white river rafting and site seeing as well as shopping (I know had to throw that in) and rock climbing for those of you who would like to stay longer.
I would like this event to be for everyone from stock, mild to wild so Moab would be the ideal place.

Just need to come up with a catchy name for the annual event, any ideas?

I second the "GM Safari" idea! Poke a little fun at those jeepers.

    Paul,

Moab is located in southeastern Utah...just point your truck due South and drive about 800 miles or so.

Haven't been there yet...just drooled over the 3 billion or so pic's I've seen in the mags. When I went to Texas I drove through the Northern part of Utah...I wish I would have had the time to at least drive through Moab [IMG]

    Lookin forward to it though!
