I juse spent 2 hours cleaning my arsenal. Love the smell of Hoppes #9 in the evening. Gonna go out the 29th and get em all dirty again. This will be a tutorial for a certain CK5 member. 20 rounds of 12 gauge, 50 rounds of .45acp, 20 rounds of 30-06, and 20 rounds of .303 British. Probably the last time I will go out shooting till spring. I can't hit squat when I am shivering.:doah:

That's classified. If the member in question wishes to post up, that's cool. I don't know if this is something this person wants made public.:wink1:

Just finished cleaning up the ol 12 guage. Going out Chukar hunting this weekend. Those evil birds are good for putting a lot of rounds thru the heater.
Chukar camp is going to be fun this year. Got around 12 people showing up for a week full of shooting,4 wheeling, dogs, tall tails, Great camp food and drink.
    Ahhhhh life is good.

By the by, my amoonition came within 48 hours of the order. There is a difference in the new bullet vs the old bullet, think I'll bring some of the old stuff so you can see it firsthand.

The old stuff should have a larger ,more blunt nosed slug. I believe the issue ammo had a 220 grain slug vs the 180(?) that you got.

This must be old aftermarket, it's Interarmco 150 grain soft nose hunting round. Has the corrosive Berdan.

Lucky bastiges. I'm hoping the desert dries up a little by this weekend, I need to take the new .45 out for another spin and I'm picking up a little .380 "pocket pistol" Friday that needs to be worked over too.

We'll get together one of these days. You'd probably have a lot more fun with Mike, like Hendrix said, "He is experienced".

    I am the firearm noober.
