Ok, got another question about that box of parts I posted about yesterday. It's got a set of clevite rod bearings in it marked 988 CB663P G on one side and clevite 77 on the other. Most clevite bearings I've gotten have been color coded to indicate undersize. These don't have colors on them. Anyone know if that # is for a standard set?

I just replaced my rod and mains with clevite 77 bearings. They were .010 under and it was indicated on the bearing itself. They are the same color (aluminum?) as the standard size clevites I put in my toyota when I rebuilt that.

I just went and looked at the old bearings. The rod bearings are marked 600 CB663P .010. I also have one bearing I bought before I knew I needed undersize bearings. It's marked 8 02 CB663P STD. I assume the first three numbers are the lot number.
